tiffany engagement

i cant wait to blog this the moment i received from bestie this morning.

a tiffany engagement!

i loveeeeeeeeeee the side flowers by her pelamin. so gorgeous with dangling crystals...remind me of this! and the pics just gave me idea where to hang the DIY butterfly (which if u malas, u can get crystal butterfly from SSF)! pretty!

love the detailing at her veil too..i guess i'm bias, cos i love chiffon heeee.

no, im eyeing hantaran at the back one! white pinkish cymbi one of my fave orchid (apart from white phalaenopsis) :) tapi berangan je lah, cos they're soooo expensive. fiance kata tanam sendiri kalau nak jimat, hehe :P perli la tu.

DIY centerpiece

since we're going buffet style for penang reception, guest table sudah pastinya kosong tanpa sebarang deco kan, so im thinking of having one for max 40 tables. simple or very mini je pun ok.

so brides, this my first attempt to DIY guest table centerpiece. it was done few months back, tapi kurang keyakinan to blog them, hehe. btw, i worked from this
inspiration ;)

Items bought @ SSF

mini glass - rm1.00

hydrangea - rm7.90 @ rm 10.90..lupe!
(can cut to 4-5 mini bunches)

tiffany polka dot ribbon - rm0.80/m
(can use for 2 centrepieces/m)

sponge - rm2
(can cut to 8-10 mini sponges)

the outcome; one with slim glass and right pic with gemok glass.
comot gile, bunga pun tak balance hehe!!

p/s : lecehnya to drive them home from kl, wasting carspace je hu hu..haruskah outsource? hihihi

tiffany & traditional sense

just back from my usual bloghopping, happy to meet my new tiffany twin ehhe. lepas ni ada lah gang nak share on tiffany wedding stuffs kan. read about fizz's writing on her traditional wedding theme, which somehow interest me to jot down some notes here.

there's deep down telling me that no matter how modern tiffany theme being exaggerated from my bridezilla fantasy, i still have my soft spot for traditional element/thingy for my wedding. which one of it includes my preference of traditional egg giving, over err - those fancy candles for doorgift.

i didnt recall when this pic was safely kept in my folder, but it was there for quite some time, hmm.
and i love this doorgift so much for firstly, it came in tiffany. and next best thing - it's a miniature of our traditional tekat tepak sirih...with nicely crafted bride & groom names. perhaps more towards VIP doorgifts, since it's a lil pricey hehe..

if you love hydrostone made, you may check them at Inani Craft - one of their showroom in SACC mall. visited once, and for pic above they quoted rm8. extra one ringgit for custom made with names. min order 500 pcs...too much for my so-called VIP guests!

back to my topic - it's all about adding some traditional sense to modern wedding theme!

mini centerpiece

Hi again, I’m bored. Damn bored.

To bring down this boredom, I decided to flip again my wedding folder, not those girly one with fancy ribbon (Read: computer folder) and start picking up some idea to blog about.

CENTERPIECE FOR GUEST TABLE. Not a-must, really. And often in my place, we’re not used to such deco for under-canopy weddings.

I’d love to have it, I don’t mind it’s not as big or tall or bold as this – my wedding will just be in a small town of Kepala Batas, remember?

I just wanted something tiny, and very personal. Not blocking the sight too; tak syioklah nak bergossip :P

I just need this. The artificial just as good as fresh one, believe me.

And….this.

*POOOOOF*

And here’s the not-so-magic, mini glass with bunch of hydrangeas..! My favorite blue hydrangea with misty white glass or the other way around is just okkkayy.

Ceremony is o-ver, so what’s next with those leftovers? Can consider for free (or force-kind!) giveaway to besties/girlfriends. Nazlin Shakir tidak terkecuali (Leen, I know you’re reading this since you sooo love to google your name on net muahaha). Bride’s handmade, jgn buang!

Anyway, don’t worry, Mom will veto her “NO” straight away. And be prepared for her mak-mak excuse..”MEMBAZIR!!” Kuikuikui.

wedding @ tiffany's...

tiffany theme canopies!
beautiful, but i dont dream such lavishness.
not to that extend of tiffany ribbon covered chair of course.
i just need at least that tiffany scallop to live up the theme. at least.
and talking about Penang canopy supplier/caterer, berapa ramai sangat la yang ade color ni eh...? ke takde?

tiffany dreaming

What is your wedding hue?

You are undoubtedly
Cool Blues
Your eyes are drawn to icy shades of blue.
For a variation, you may also want to consider violets or cool greens.

hey, did i say tiffany for mine? hehe.
