calming the jitters

February, a month of LOVE.

With this whole romantic mood & sorta calming the jitters of my coming engagement, i decided to drop by Floristika Bangsar with my sis today whee. it's a wholesaler of fresh flowers and i must say, the place is soooo heaven!! cos they have all my forever favorites - gerbera, calla lily, hydrangea, peony, eusthoma, carnations and oh, the list just keep going *grin*

dont bother to ask me any comparison with freshy in Petaling Street cos honestly, i have no idea on the pricing. considering February is the month of most expensive any roses could be isk, so to be getting rm26 for 20 stalks of those stunning red roses i consider cheap kot? no? roses petals going for rm10 per bag of half size of my arm. temptinggggg.

my engagement will be on Valentine's so i'm thinking of buying the fresh cuts by this thursday. must be a busy day for me, cos friday dah cuti and driving to penang. considering the constraints, better i just get from Floristika which like 10mins from my apartment rather than rushing to Petaling Street kan.

i'm going to DIY my handbouquet, and confirm - it's going to be RED ROSES..!

so cancel la dgn Nasz whom i asked to touch up my artificial tulip for handbouquet. hey, still not wasting cos i already got a BIG plan for those tulips. they gonna be the star on that day - thanks SSF for the idea, never seen any wedding done that yet *surprise*

went to BSC to collect my hantaran dates. haiya, cute-boy-blessed-with-arabic-looking-and-superbly-speaking-English (fuh, panjang gile) entertain me last week takde lah pulak :P tepakse lah deal dgn brother Bob yang sombong itu, nasib baik dpt free testing lagi pistachio biscuits yang sedap ituuu. kalau tak, memang saya marah ye. and here's the sneak peek of my Bateel..

Jln TAR outing & updates

i have tonnes to update, it's either blogging-marathon today or the day after tomorrow.

cos tomorrow i'll be busy preparing for my job interview coming Wed. O&G co from Canada but the position will base in Menara Citibank, next to my current office. heard lots about their good pay, but not sure how far is that good ? Try jelah, if ade rezeki insyaAllah. if not, take it as a good experience of job interview after 2.5 wonderful years of working right. hey i must be forgotten, this is wedding blog! so let's back to wedding stuffs..!!

Lion & myself went to place where Malaysian brides just cant get enuff with - Jalan TAR! The plan was to get remaining deco to get my porpourris done at SSF & of course, collecting my cheap cheap dangling crystal chain at Semua House.

Earlier we went to Euro Moda. Not for me. My darling Lion was looking for her engagement outfit finalllllly. The theme is Go Green, sounds so eco-friendly haha. The chiffon package was rm480 inclusive of 4m chiffon + 4m satin lining + 4m groom's satin. not bad.

She wanted full beading chiffon. Knowing her, she's simple type and suggested her for border chiffon instead. more elegant i think. and she was only convinced after series of try-and-error chiffon wrapping at her bods ngehehehe. further, we berjaye pujuk the indian SA to give us 5m chiffon in order to get full beading for leher, tangan, border baju & border kain. tips ye brideys, 4m seriously not enuff if you want full beading :)

and this is the chosen one.........

We got the baby flowers we're looking for at SSF. and some red petals for my bed deco. and my not yet done tulip bouquet weeehu!

after few hrs of our hardwork (Lion + me), this is how the potpourris mini jars turned out......... ya, not as pretty as what Mya did but for beginner boley la kan hihihi.

i'm listening to Aizat's Lagu Kita while writing this....another wedding song to be, perhaps :)

bride's handful bouquet

i guess most of us have own favourite when it comes to wedding pictures.

if you ask me, i'd always love the part of bride's handful of lovely bouquets. (minus the bride's face ehhe..)...i've got no reason, i just LOVE. and i saved almost that i found in my forever-not-forgotten little wedding folder of my own.

and that just answered why i have em on my primary pic.

i simply culdnt tell how long it will be there, but deep inside i hope it will someday being replaced with my own darling bouquet.

you're right. i'm on deadly-romantic tune now.

somebody should pinch me, argh.

roses are red

I never liked roses, not even on Valentine's or anniversary.Dotty kate i pelik haha.But somehow bile dah selalu search on weddings ni, i started to fall in love with ROSES, especially white & red roses. They really speak LOVE.

I always love English theme wedding.White dress.Candle & white roses like everywhere.....................

Next - discuss with Dotty.He pretty liked the idea of English theme and now we both berebut nak that theme for our side hahaha.In the end, we feel that "ape salahnye 2-2 side English theme kan?" His side will be a bit western while mine will be traditional but still engaged with English concept in term of hantaran, pelamin etc. Pelik tapi benar hihi. (Dotty, color xleh same yer...)

Engagement pun same la.Senang kan.If possible,nak modify skit kasi nmpk fairytale but yet, still SIMPLE.

Hunting for penggubah hantaran & pelamin for above begins, not forgotten those cash counting *wink & headache*
