the biggest problem dah solved, they got me new ones to capture my events. and they compensated with free pre-wedding too..doubt fiance will have time for this, still, i'm shortlisting few places just in case :)

attended wedding of fellow blogger in Equatorial..congrats Sue! love almost everything about your wed esp the pelamin & deco...and very pleased to meet Qis & Diah in person too! and this silent blogger wearing red hijab that night....very friendly (and pretty!)...if u're reading this please invite us to your link k :) p/s : how come i lupa tanya your name? tsk tsk :(

fiance advised to re-try my ring since i've lost some weight..i may need to resize. so the noon was spent at jeweller..yeap, the ring now abit longgar..since im planning to lose few kgs more, our SA suggest for resizing to be done only by end Jan & he promised the process nothing longer than 2 days...baiklah! :) p/s : their Lazare now on 30% sale...bencinyeeee...

fiance's nehru now sent to his father's fave Antonz..they berborak like nobody's business sampai i tertido while waiting for them! coming 23rd is the fitting..praying hard the result as good as the bill...

semalam we met the baker. this aunty very very nice & full of ideas...but i prefer to keep the cake design just as the pic in mag...simple :) we only change the topping part, which this aunty very keen of doing hydrangeas hehe...and she even made us few samples...so as of now, bye bye peony!

then headed to klcc..catching some sale, mostly tinggal the leftovers...fiance got his white shoes for bertandang, happy :)

p/s : with 1mth+ left, i tell you...setiap weekend dah macam amazing race hehe...

shafaf's wedding

alhamdulillah, bestie shafaf finally selamat diijabkabulkan with her hubby, firdaus on friday. few unpleasant things happened that day; makeup artist didnt turn up due to emergency, air takde seharian, pengapit tidak dapat dikesan sehari sebelumnya hehe....but im impressed shafaf managed her stress very well and somehow, things will fall into place in the end they said - which is very very true :)

early friday morning, teman her and arfah to floristika to get some flowers for her bouquet. the chinese lady was so rude when we asking for suggestion, we pejamkan mata je cos dah last minute kan hehe :) then to SSF, buying the remaining organza pouch for nikah favors. i excused myself 2hrs to gym dulu then pegi rumah shafaf to help her DIY-ing the bouquet.



kak liza's relative passed away, so she replaced with her friend. lupe nak tanya nama cos we were so excited tengok shafaf di-makeover hehe..lawa, and the makeup style very close to kak liza's. accessories by Saidatulnisa's boutique & her pretty dress by kimie kajang.

nikah theme was purple & above part of her room deco. she got my fave hydrangeas, with calla lily cucuk2 on top...remind me of Poetry of Flower's style..love it!

saje post pic yang berselerak with batang bunga..bukti DIY haha :P i'd always prefer sweet williams over baby's breath as fillers..tapi shafaf nak jugak baby's breath tu hehe..to tell the whole truth, i tukang cabut daun je hehe...arfah who also the first-timer yang turn them to everyone's dream bouquet :)

pic sanding on saturday malas nak upload. tak byk pic cos busy catching up with old friends (and food!). honestly, i had to tahan my tears from falling on her nikah night. i was so happy that bestie that i've known for past 8yrs since studying in muar now with her man. and today they're flying to bali for honeymoon...shafaf, im not ready yet to be aunty & ko pun nak naik pelamin lagi bln 4 ni...so our advise...... banyakkanlah sightseeing dari memerap di hotel lalalala.........

Diah's Majlis Bertandang

Finally, we make it to her majlis bertandang. We among the earliest to arrive gara2 my fiance tersalah beli show GI Joe 2.40pm at midvalley #$%^&*@ I insisted to wait until pengantin sampai & sempatlah tengok them gorgeously in songket berarak to their beautifully decorated pelamin :)

Segan pulak nak say hello & bersalaman dengan pengantin while kompang masih dimainkan. We had to leave by 2pm, time tu us dah macam ular sawa cos perut masing2 dah full dgn makanan yang sedap at her kenduri :)

to Diah & hubby, selamat pengantin baru! thn ni raya rumah siapa dulu? hehehe :P

went to Qimie's wedding @ Dewan Dr Siti Hasmah last saturday.

get Mas to tag along as my fiance couldn't make it at the very very last minute, grr.

Qimie looked stunning in her gold dress, so as the mr.hubby. Makeup pun natural, most of her wedding parts done by Kimie Kajang if not mistaken..

thing that i would remember most about her wedding is ANGKLUNG play.

not the ordinary live band or romantic song play that most weddings used to have, so this angklung giving something unique & so serene...

one of my fave wedding, it was in my folder quite a longgg time.
i didnt know the couple, happened to stumble upon the piccies while wedding hunting on net.
Knysa & Omar, they called.

they had a perfect one. they themselves a perfect couple - sama cantik & sama padan or bagai pinang dibelah dua like we used to say, kan.

with my plumpy bod, i know i wont look good in songket. but i adore those wearing one for their wedding, and the one that i admire definitely a white songket. Knysa's blue songket with lace by Salikin Sidek was darnnn lovely, and soo matched her traditional wedding theme.

and i must say, they had the most wedding montages on net i ever seen. complete collection of their journey to bliss, with syahdu background songs by myshots. photos & videos, you named it.

Her ceremony was my first attending an outdoor garden wedding concept. The chosen theme was pretty pink. sweeeeet! And i must say, Lynda Rahim has done a good job to this beautiful couple. 5 panels pelamin with stunning chandeliers & pink-beige damask backdrop - very breathtaking!

K.Reen turned out gorgeous with her pink dress & natural makeover by Tiar Zainal. K. Reen tinggi ok, dah persis model gitu ehehehe.

To recall how we met, K.Reen & my fiance were from Uniten. so whenever i turun kl nak dating, i akan tumpang rumah Paie (Faizah), whose also housemate to K.Reen. Tak sangke, after few years we then bumped to each other again in this blogging world. wedding blogging plak tu hehehe.

it's another bestie........

me & girlfriends overnight at Shafaf's house yesterday to help her out on her engagement. we did the last minute flower arrangement for her bedroom deco & sirih junjung.

if i could wrap, yes it did turn a fab one and we soo love it! one thing that we love - the event was carefully planned, and mind you - most of em are DIY! Shafaf's mom is realll gooood when it comes to craft & deco thingy (so does Shafaf!). Hantaran, bed deco, mini pelamin, hand bouquet, doorgift were all by her mom & yes, single-handed while Shafaf did her own engagement makeover, too. superb.

a big congratulation to my beautiful Enni & his hubby, Syed. the solemnization took place in Maluri Hotel while the reception was yesterday, in De Palma Hotel Ampang.

Hubby (who blessed with Germany's gen hehe) is dotty's close buddy back then in Uniten. Well, i should say Enni is now my colleague since we're in the same office of KLCC hehe.

Feel like writing out what i really really love about theirs last night......

1) Love the red & white theme

2) Love Enni's simple open-back dress. no tiara, nor veil but even GORGEOUS than we used to know (and love!)

3) Love Enni's hot red bouquet of roses

4) Love Enni's open-toe white heels

5) Love the not-so-deadly-romantic played English songs

6) Love Enni's funny faces during the menepung tawar

7) Love the fresh flowers by their pelamin. simple but very fulfilling!

8) Love the modern combination of red roses, carnations & calla lilies as the flower stands

9) Love the solemnization montage; Enni is still the chatterbox as always haha

10) Love the food, even it definitely ruining my diet :P

Maya Karin's Wedding

i really love what Maya had for her recent solemnization in Como Lake, Italy - simple white dress from Saiful Bahrin. Very sopan, as what it should be. She looked a bit tired on the day, but for me she's still gorgeous as always :) i still recall her words in EH! mag when she spoke about her dream wedding where she mentioned the dream dress to be made by famous designers Saiful Bahrin & Radzuan Razwill. Her wishes came true, how lucky!

Seen few pics from internet on her garden wedding @ FRIM - again as what she wished. Something unique about her ceremony was the doorgift is..err mentol? the idea was also related to her role as "duta alam sekitar" or something like that bla bla..sounds practical for her, but not for me (even i'm not the guest ihik). the theme was black-white, simple but very very much elegant. hmm, she didnt even wear her tiara ok - but still looking like a princess, so sweet!

finally my darling sha is already a wifey! so happy for her :) her wedding yesterday was something to remember of, especially for the bright orange theme & tasty food from d'hidang (really miss that mouthwatering daging salai masak hitam huaa...). babe, me so envy with your princess cut lah hehe..!!
